"I Can't" do Stop Motion
Discover how everyday objects and simple techniques can bring stories to life — just like in Wallace & Gromit or Robot Chicken. No experience or fancy tools required, just a little patience and a lot of imagination. Experiment with creating our own quirky, frame-by-frame animations in a relaxed, no-pressure space. This free workshop is all about connection, creativity, and realizing that stop motion isn’t just for the pros — it’s for anyone who’s ever wanted to make things move.
All workshops take place at the Center for Creativity, 910 S. Boston Ave. Free parking is available in any TCC lot.
The workshops are taught at an adult level. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you have any questions, contact Cindy Pederson at cindy.pederson@tulsacc.edu

Drop-in at Good Cause Brewing
oin Sarah Bowen from Tiny Things by Bowen for an all-ages drop in polymer clay workshop! For $12 (or 3 for $30) you can experience the medium and make your own miniature creation. There will be tons of examples provided or you can come with your own ideas and Sarah will help you make them a reality! This is great for ages 6 and up, though younger kids can certainly craft with their grownup's assistance. Items bake upon completion and are ready to go home within 20 minutes. Zero experience required!

YBR Pride Gnomes Class
Join Sarah of Tiny Things by Bowen at Tulsa’s own Yellow Brick Road Bar for a rare chance to create your own tiny polymer clay gnome. Each participant will create one gnome and one accessory for them. Choose your skin tone here so I can mix them in advance, and then select outfit and other detail colors as we craft. $5 of every ticket sold will be going to the Queer Lit Collective, whose tiny libraries protect and share Queer literature throughout Oklahoma.
This is a 21+ class as it is in a bar. Said bar has plenty of NA options too if you prefer! No experience is required to participate. Items bake for 20 minutes once complete, so plan your evening accordingly. Or just stick around for BINGO a little later and make a day of it!

Please Touch the Art
Mark your calendars for the opening reception of “Please Touch the Art,” an exhibition that engages all five senses, from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5. Designed with a special focus on visitors and artists who are blind or visually impaired, Please Touch the Art invites everyone to experience art in a new way—especially those of us who’ve had to resist the urge to touch a painting in a museum! Enjoy snacks, meet the artists, and try your hand at fun activities, including the collaborative community art project “Strut Your Crown” with artist Katherine Penny Mitchell.

Resin Pot Hole Class
Find a small hole in your sidewalk or driveway, and join Tiny Things at Heirloom Rustic Ales on Wednesday, August 27th to build your own tiny creation to put inside! While I must recommend finding a spot on property you own……there are lots of holes in public too and I’d never tell you to put one there….but... Anyway. Pick a location that is no bigger than the 2.5 inches wide and an inch or so deep. Your prep for the class will be to fill that hole with tightly packed foil and bring the foil to class with you so we can make sure your item(s) will fit.
Each participant will get to make the item of their choice for installation, and will receive one small bottle of UV resin. I will have some ideas for potential designs but you can really do anything you like. If it is sunny enough outside we will do an install there at Heirloom as an example.
This is an adults class since the items are so tiny, it’s hard for little hands and minds to be so detailed. Tickets include one draft drink from our host, along with (almost)* all materials and instruction needed! No food trucks are planned to be on site, but feel free to bring your own dinners along if you’d like!
*The only thing not provided, as seen in the example photos, is acrylic paint to do a background color in the hole. Bottles can be purchased for less than $2 at Michaels if you wish to add it!

Tiny Tulsa-Mini Museum & Market
Are you a lover of all things miniature? Do you enjoy supporting local creative businesses? Stop by the Tiny Tulsa Mini Museum & Market for a unique experience in both. Open in the Flyloft during April's First Friday from 6pm-9pm and Saturday the 6th from 11am - 5pm.
Tulsa's own Tiny Things by Bowen has created an out-of-the-box Mini Museum out of...a box! Fifty Oklahoma artists' tiny works will be featured within this one-of-a-kind gallery display for you to experience and perhaps even purchase from. While you await your turn inside the Museum you are invited to check out the array of booths set up by those featured in the museum. Check back in March for a list of vendors!
An additional gallery wall from the students of Edison High School's art programs will be on display and up for a community vote! Students will be awarded cash prizes for first-third place, so be sure to vote! Voting will end and winners will be announced at 4pm on Saturday.
Of course gallery opening would be complete without some snacks, and ours will fittingly be tiny! Sweet treats compliments of Evanly Bakes and From Lolly will be available. This event is brought to you by Tiny Things by Bowen and the Guthrie Green! It is family friendly and supports Tulsa's creative community.
